About Twin Maple SugarWorks

With the help of countless neighbors and friends, we, Don and Jodi Gale have been  sugaring in Lincoln, Vermont since 1998. We’re committed to producing delicious, certified organic maple products using eco-conscious methods.

Even as our operation has grown from the two trees in our yard to a 5,200 tap sugarbush, we still take the same care that we took when we began. From hand-splitting wood, to solar powered electricity, we’re committed to doing things the right way and to always producing the highest quality, pure Vermont maple syrup.

Turning sap into syrup is all about energy. In the old days sugarmakers would burn acres of forest in the form of wood heat. Now, at Twin Maple SugarWorks, we use Reverse Osmosis to concentrate our sugar. This system allows us to use solar powered electricity instead of fossil fuels. Our boiler is powered by firewood, harvested sustainably from local forests and split and stacked by hand.

Our team of family and friends wants you to know that the syrup you get from Twin Maple SugarWorks is not only delicious, but also made with care.
